In Precast/Prestressed Girder module, when Multi-Span (Mixed) option is used and multiple units are defined, the pier connecting two different units is considered as the transition pier. The Superstructure Parameters window of the transition pier is slightly different from that of ordinary pier. The information of the number of units, individual spans and the corresponding unit no and unit types is provided for the transition pier. The dead and live load effects must be generated through the integrated process, meaning you need to run analysis of superstructure first, then read the reactions due to dead and live loads from superstructure analysis.
